This project is very important because it was somewhat of a comeback project. I had been not creating music or lyrics for years up until this point and I was yearning to see how I would be given that the music industry changed over the time and in drastic ways. This is my way to really branch out and define what my style is. To play by my own rules (and break them). To see if "I still got it" in a sense, but I also reestablished that I feel I have a very important voice for a specific audience that needs to hear it. I was also more positive in this time. But also very real. I’m learning to discover myself more and this project illustrates it.
